Amy grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Portland after graduating high school. She attended Portland State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

After working at Oregon Health Sciences University for many years, she returned to PSU to pursue a career in accounting and obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Accounting Certificate. Amy has been preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses since earning her CPA license in 2008.

Amy and her husband, Bryan, live in Vancouver.  They enjoy sailing down the Columbia River in their sailboat, camping and hiking around the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Amy also likes to garden and spend time with her three grandchildren.
