Brad Kroes, CPA

Brad received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Lethbridge in Canada in 2005. He went on to earn his Chartered Accountant license in Canada in 2008 and his CPA license in Texas in 2009. He is currently a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association of Alberta in Canada, as well as a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

After graduating, Brad embarked on a 13-year career in the banking industry, where he obtained his CFP designation and worked to assist clients in developing financial plans whenever possible. Eventually, Brad decided to shift his career focus to accounting. He spent his first five years in the field working with two of the Big Four accounting firms, where he divided his time between audit and tax services. Upon moving from Canada to the U.S., he started working with a local firm in South Texas, near the border with Mexico, where he stayed for more than 13 years. During this period, his work primarily involved assisting large corporations and partnerships, as well as helping clients navigate the complex international filing requirements.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their two boys, and their two dogs. They are often found swimming in the pool, traveling, watching movies, shooting, and simply enjoying time with friends. Despite being in Texas, Brad remains an avid hockey fan and has managed to keep up with his favorite team, the Calgary Flames, showcasing his enduring passion for the sport.
