Chuck grew up in Lewiston, Idaho. He spent a lot of his time in the outdoors hunting and fishing as well as swimming competitively and wrestling. After he graduated high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Chuck spent 20 years in the infantry and has been deployed all over the world. He retired from the service in 2017. 

After the military, Chuck moved his family to Vancouver, Washington and began attending Clark College where he received his associate degree in Business Administration, graduating with honors. He then attended Washington State University Vancouver where he majored in Accounting and Finance.

In his spare time, Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He relishes time spent flyfishing, camping, shooting, and swimming. He also loves baking bread and smoking meat on the grill.
