Edelyn was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 2000. Her family settled in Hawaii until the military relocated them. Their last move landed them in Washington State, which she now considers home. During the move, she worked in various fields from hospitality to civil service jobs.

Edelyn graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting while raising a family. Her move to Washington has given her opportunities to work more in the accounting field and gain experience in tax preparation while working for a private firm. Her focus is on the preparation of individual tax returns but also helps in preparation of business tax returns.

In her free time, Edelyn enjoys being around family, whether it be going to her kids sporting events, going on small trips or just hanging out at home. Spring is her favorite season of the year as she enjoys gardening.
