Jamie grew up all over the country but landed herself in the PNW for the last 20 years. Jamie attended Washington State University in Pullman and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While attending WSU, Jamie was heavily involved in school activities such as scholarship cohorts, Psychology Club, student work study with the Center for Civic Engagement and an internship at the Center for Career Development. 

Jamie has always had a passion for helping people and has been a huge focus in her career. With an eclectic work history, such as positions in Higher Education and the Healthcare field, Jamie now has found her home at Opsahl Dawson as Human Resources Generalist. She looks forward to using her skills in employee relations and marketing to retain our current employees and help bring the best employees to join our team. 

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending her time with her boyfriend and their English Mastiff exploring the beautiful PNW. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places, hiking, and baking. You can also find her going to local Humane Societies to visit with dogs needing extra love and attention while they wait for their furever home. While Jamie has a passion for dogs, she also has a huge passion for dirt track races. Her boyfriend competes weekly in a modified racecar and loves being his pit chief and assisting with tire prep, fueling up, and scraping mud off his racecar.
