Katie grew up in Castle Rock, WA and played volleyball at Longview Community College (LCC). After getting married, she spent 8 years traveling with her husband, a member of the US Air Force. They lived for years in Oak Harbor, WA and moved back home to Castle Rock in 2016.

While at LCC, Katie earned a degree in Nursing but found that she enjoyed accounting more! She is finishing her Business and Accounting degree at Central Washington University, and studying for the CPA exam. She has experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, payroll, and working with nonprofits. Here at Opsahl Dawson she looks forward to expanding her knowledge in tax preparation.

Katie loves camping, hiking, and being a farm girl in her spare time. She enjoys spending time with her husband, teenage daughter and 4 sons.
