Katy Lukas, CPA

MANAGER
Katy is originally from Seattle, WA and grew up playing music, including piano, flute, and even dabbled in drums for a bit. Katy obtained her first bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Washington and worked with at risk youth populations for several years. She then lived abroad teaching English in Taiwan and Prague for a couple of years. After returning to the US, she went back to school to obtain her accounting degree and worked as an accountant for a non-profit organization in Seattle for several years. From there, she decided to go into public accounting, obtaining her CPA license and working in auditing and assurance since 2018. In 2022, she moved to Portland, OR, and a year later she moved to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge where she currently resides. In her free time, Katy enjoys hiking, outdoors, traveling, volunteering, and backyard birding.
Katy loves all things GAAP and financial statements. She enjoys helping clients through complex technical issues, as well as helping them find efficiencies in their accounting processes. She also has a passion for mentorship and enjoys drawing upon her teaching background to help train and develop staff.
