How do you satisfy a thrill seeker? You challenge them to roll up their sleeves in the pits of a racetrack, convince them to jump off a building, or ask them to dive into their clients work at the office. Our never-ending search for a diversified team led us to this thrill seeker who joined our firm in 2012. Kelsey has experience in individual and business tax preparation, financial statement preparation, Washington excise tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks. After graduating high school as class valedictorian, Kelsey started her career path at Centralia College in pursuit of her accounting dream. While at college she began her career in public accounting in 2009 with a firm in Western Washington. During this time, she mastered the art of multitasking by attending college full-time, coaching softball and basketball, as well as working during tax season.

In 2011, Kelsey decided to relocate to the Vancouver area to further her career opportunities. Shortly after relocating, she finished her bachelor degree in technical management with an emphasis in accounting. She also began working as the Controller for a Portland-based engineering firm. In October of 2013, Kelsey completed her master’s degree in accounting and finance at Keller Graduate School of Management.

Outside of work and her love for numbers you will most likely find Kelsey spending time with her family at the dirt race track where her husband competes in modified racecars. If she is not at the race track, she is chasing a toddler around the house. She is always ‘on the ready’ for an outdoor adventure. Kelsey also enjoys yoga, sports, hiking, and traveling.
