Kristina was born in Slovakia and graduated with a degree in Economics from the University. Seeking to improve her English, she made the exciting decision to come to the US as an au-pair. After finishing the au-pair program, she worked in the restaurant industry for about 10 years. During that time, she successfully completed an individual income tax course and worked for Jackson Hewitt during three tax seasons. She then enrolled in the Lower Columbia College Accounting Technician Program and earned her AA degree in Accounting. This paved the way for her professional journey. Kristina gained valuable experience working for Chase and Spurgeon P.S., which merged with Futcher CPA Group in 2015. She specializes in bookkeeping, payroll, and preparation of monthly and quarterly B&O and payroll reports. Additionally, she has hands-on experience in preparing a variety of business and personal tax returns and some financial statements.

Outside of the professional realm, Kristina enjoys spending her time outdoors. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, paddleboarding on serene waters, or the thrill of skiing down slopes, she finds joy in staying active. Traveling and exploring new places are also among some favorite pastimes.
