Matt Lee, CPA

PARTNER, M&A/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, GOLF TEAM DIRECTOR

Matt takes as much pride in his role as a CPA advisor as he does living life to the fullest. If you don’t find him in the office advising our business clients, you’ll find him enjoying one of his many personal activities. From cycling to golfing to vacationing, Matt enjoys the exciting things in life. Matt’s stories can keep a room’s attention for hours—one minute he’ll be explaining his cycling trip to the top of Mt. Hood, the next he’ll be convincing you he is the next Arnold Palmer on the golf course. He is proud of his dedication to cycling and has an annual cycling goal of 2,500 miles and completion of several regional bike rides, including the STP.

Matt is a graduate of Portland State University. He has managed our Vancouver office since joining the firm in 2010. Matt has been a licensed CPA since 1989. Prior to joining our firm, Matt held positions as a manager of a local CPA firm, a CFO of a multi-national business, a Controller of a Fortune 500 Company’s division, and a business owner. This broad background provides Matt with an arsenal of real life experiences to share with his clients. He is especially passionate about developing business plans and banking strategies, as well as assisting with complex business combinations.

Matt enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandson.  He also lends his expertise to nonprofit groups such as Peace Health Foundation, Lifeline Connections and the Vancouver Rotary Club and Foundation.
