Megan Hays grew up in Oregon City, Oregon and attended La Salle High School where she was a varsity athlete on both the basketball and golf teams. She led La Salle’s basketball team to the state championship game and is proud to be a permanent part of the wall of fame at LaSalle High. Megan continued her basketball career at George Fox University as a power forward and in 2012 she played in the national championship game. Jokingly she proclaims that led her college basketball league in foul-outs. Her competitive personality helps her keep her edge as a tax professional too.

Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting with cum laude honors from George Fox University. After graduation, she passed all four CPA exams on the first try and began working at another Vancouver based CPA firm before joining Opsahl Dawson. She is smart, dedicated, hardworking accountant and a valued member of Opsahl Dawson’s golf team.
