Meisha joins Opsahl Dawson with experience in individual and business tax preparation, bookkeeping, Payroll and QuickBooks.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Northern Iowa and is a licensed CPA.  While the two may seem disparate in nature, the combination of creativity and attention to detail seem to be two halves of a whole for Meisha.  And a diversified team can always use one more non-conformist!

After a brief stint in Tokyo, Japan as a Lighting Designer, Meisha began her accounting career at a small firm in Iowa doing client bookkeeping.  Fast forward 20 years, and not being one to turn down a challenge, her husband solidified a move to Washington at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. While he began his new job, Meisha packed up the house and headed west in a 26’ moving truck towing her car. She landed at Opsahl Dawson shortly thereafter.

In her spare time, Meisha enjoys travelling, hiking, quilting, and sports. She appreciates trying to see what lies beneath the obvious, seeing a project through to completion, and takes great satisfaction in assisting people as they achieve their goals.
