Paul Maloney, CPA/ABV, CFP®
A native of Washington State since the age of 6, Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Washington University. After gaining some experience, he obtained a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University – Vancouver and a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Paul started his career in private accounting, working for two manufacturing companies before taking a position with Intel Corporation in Dupont, WA. He spent 14 years at Intel working in positions from Finance Analyst to Finance Controller. Paul transitioned to public accounting in 2014 and specializes in individual, small and medium businesses, and business valuations.
Paul took the Albert Einstein quote “When you stop learning you start dying” to heart. He enjoys learning new information and applying it to solve problems. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified in Financial Management, Accredited in Business Valuation, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He is passionate about applying these skills to come alongside clients to help them plan, grow, and succeed.
Paul lives in Tumwater, WA with his wife and three sons. He is the Treasurer of the Olympia Education Foundation and is a volunteer assistant for the Olympia High School boys golf team. In his spare time, you can probably find him on a golf course with one or more of his kids. He also enjoys travelling, baking, playing board games, and rooting for the local sports teams (Go Sounders!).
