Shannon was born and raised in Olympia, Washington where she still resides with her husband of 20 years and 4 daughters. After completing her associates degree at South Puget Sound Community College, she began working at a small CPA firm in their bookkeeping department and was there for many years before merging with another larger CPA firm. She has over 14 years of experience in assisting clients with QuickBooks and accounting set up, monthly accounting, payroll preparation and state excise tax reporting. She is excited to be a part of another merger and to join the Opsahl Dawson team.

When not at work, her time is spent with her family, usually running kids around to their activities. She enjoys camping, trips to the beach, crocheting/knitting, Sudoku puzzles, movie nights and just being with her family.
