Sheri began her accounting career with a regional Portland accounting firm in 1998. There she specialized in individual tax returns and eventually began preparing business, trust, and estate returns.

While she enjoyed digging in and helping her clients navigate the maze of ever-changing tax laws, her main priority had always been raising her boys, Jason and Jeremy. When they reached high school, Sheri decided to focus on her career and got her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University. She then earned her enrolled agent license and is currently working on her master’s in tax accounting.

Sheri was thrilled to join the Opsahl Dawson team in 2018. With more than 20 years experience, she’s learned to value each client’s unique needs. She takes great pride in finding tax saving opportunities for each of them.

Outside of the office, Sheri’s time is best spent with her boys. Whether it’s going to the movies, the beach, or just staying home playing with their chinchillas, they have a great time.
