Taryn graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA. While she didn’t plan on becoming an accountant, after getting her first job out of college, she discovered that she loved it and pursued her CPA license. This journey introduced her to the world of taxes.

With 14 years of experience in the accounting industry, Taryn has experience in both public and private accounting as she has worked for a few health-care related companies. Her tax accounting career focused on high-net-worth individuals and small businesses and their owners in a variety of industries. She enjoys building relationships with both her clients and colleagues with a goal to find ways to best help and support them.

Born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, she now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her boyfriend and their two pets, a cat and a dog (yes, they do get along). Outside of work, Taryn stays active by running Disney races, golfing, and traveling. Her favorite place she has visited so far is Japan and she hopes to visit either Korea or Italy next.
