Yoni is a proud alum of the University of Oregon with a love and curiosity for all things tax. Born in Mexico, he is a frequent traveler who has lived in Michoacán Mexico, Portland Oregon, and Seattle Washington.

Yoni graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in economics. He received the Academic Excellence award in 2017 from Financial Executives International of Portland. Yoni continued his growth as a tax professional working in Seattle as an expatriate tax specialist for 3.5 years. Yoni is excited to join Opsahl Dawson to be closer to the local community and businesses that he grew up with.

In his free time, Yoni enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid sports and music fan and is constantly looking for new and exciting music to listen to. As part of his professional development, Yoni plans to complete his CPA certification and intends to provide a positive impact on the local community.
